This course is an introduction to data mining fundamentals and algorithms for intelligent data representation and analysis, including: data pre-processing, data exploration and visualization, dimension reduction, model evaluation, predictive modeling, classification methods, association analysis, clustering algorithms, and neural networks. This is a project-based course where students solve a business problem through a data mining methodology.
