DMA 1025 - Visual Storytelling
This course introduces you to the art of storytelling for the video medium as it relates to concept and completion. You will engage in exercises designed to effectively communicate ideas to others by writing treatments, scripts, and drafting storyboards. Editing theory and technical execution in Adobe Premiere are heavily emphasized to create compelling visual narratives and an awareness of cinematics language and professional equipment. By examining different multimedia projects, you will begin to understand digital media arts terminology, workflow scenarios and future opportunities in the field.
