GFX 1025 - Introduction to Computer Graphics |
This course will acquaint you with the use of common hardware and software used in the graphic design industry for design and composition, including the use of digital SLR cameras. You will explore and demonstrate the use of Adobe Illustrator in creating vector artwork and Adobe Photoshop in creating raster graphics. Competencies include proficiency using drawing tools, layers, illustration, logo development, manipulating images, color correction, photo retouching, and basic photography. You will also use Adobe InDesign to create press-ready documents and eye-catching designs that incorporate vector and raster graphics, color, and typography.
